Bagus Jati, is set in 5 hectares of hillside gardens among lush tropical forests in the mountains of Ubud, Bali, said to be the spiritual center of Bali.

Consisting of 8 circular Deluxe Spa Villas, each with private spa facilities, 10 square Superior Villas, with wide windows and western comfort, are combined with a complete health and wellbeing centre, organic gardens and gourmet restaurant, offering guests the true spirit and grace of Asian inspired traditional healing. Bagus Jati was created with a vision to bring health and vitality into the lives of people around the world, who wish to take time away from the everyday stress of daily life, and to practice a better way of life through “lifestyle training”. Bagus Jati offers guests a global palate of world class health and wellbeing programs, covering: nutrition, Detox, Pilate's, Yoga, stress relief, Antiaging programs, nature trekking and healthy cooking workshops.

This facility was master planned in a circular style, based upon early primitive village dwellings and the chakra principle concerning energy flow.

Upon request, our executive chef will prepare breakfast on the balcony or a romantic dinner for two. Guests can relax here in absolute privacy knowing that no one will be knocking at your door, unless of course its room service.

Bagus Jati furthermore provides a free shuttle service to downtown Ubud at scheduled times, and the resort houses a Library Lounge where guests can immerse in the peaceful and quiet surroundings. Botanical Garden: Set among lush tropical forests in the mountains of Ubud, Bali, Bagus Jati's tropical gardens offer guests uninterrupted views of mountains, valleys and lush tropical flora and fauna. Experience aqua jogging and aerobics in the natural, spring-fed swimming pool. Aqua aerobic is a form of exercise recommended by medical and health professionals alike, as a way of rehabilitation and strengthening. Personal and group instruction, conducted on a daily basis, uses aqua weights and equipment to enhance all ability levels. Stay cool and refreshed while enjoying a fun-filled workout.

Jati River Waterfall & Natural Pool: Follow the winding path from the main swimming pool down into a lush fern forest. From there, descend stone steps that lead to a deep mysterious natural ravine where an unforgettable spectacle awaits!

From high above among the rocks, overgrown with exotic bio-diversity you can experience gigantic ferns, moss, lichens and soft leafed tropical trees and flowers, while a glittering 3.0 meter waterfall cascades down into a natural swimming pool and on past a beautiful Pura (temple) where the village Hindu priests offer blessings on special occasions. This is a very private a spiritual place where one can really retreat to reflect and contemplate while meditating or enjoying yoga in this tranquil oasis, ask our yoga instructor for a private class in this holy sanctuary. The spa lobby and boutique forms the entrance to our health and wellbeing facilities. The architecture is influenced by Balinese temples using a long central staircase.

Herbal steam bath: A traditional Turkish steam bath combined with inhalation therapy using eucalyptus oils renowned to benefit the respiratory system.

Thermal & Hydrotherapy: Wonderful combination of traditional hydro-massage using hot Jacuzzi & hydro bath treatments is used to assist improving ones self-being from arthritis & body-mind stress as well as to relieve cellulite & dermatology conditions.
