It has an awesome statue of Vishnu the Protector, a prime example of the Balinese love of carvings, temples, and temples that represent the eternal presence of the gods in Bali.

The main attraction of the park is Wisnu, a bust of a Hindu deity constructed from giant slabs of copper and brass. The 22 meter Wisnu figure is a modern rendering of an ancient cultural tradition. The companion piece, Garuda, represents a giant bird god that transports Wisnu on his various adventures and symbolizes to the Balinese freedom and selfless devotion to the Gods. These statues present fantastic photo opportunities.
You will find beautiful landscaped gardens and great views of the Indian Ocean, Kuta, and Jimbaran.
Uluwatu Temple is next. This magnificent temple is built on a high cliff looking south over a broad expanse of the Indian Ocean. The name is based in Balinese language can be broken into two parts. "Ulu" which means "land's end" and "watu" means "rock". There is a panoramic view of the Jimbaran coast and fishing village. The panorama of the Indian Ocean is spectacular. The wild monkeys of Bali inhabit the surrounding trees and are an interesting amusement while strolling the temple grounds. The reef break at the base of the cliff is world renowned for its’ surfing but can only be attempted by very experienced surfers due to the deadly coral found beneath the waves.
At sunset, the Kecak dance performance is held here everyday. It is a wonderful, artistic, dramatic dance and is one of then favorites in all of Bali. You may stay for the dance or go to Jimbaran Beach.
We end our day at Jimbaran Beach and fishing village. This is one of Bali’s’ best beaches. Soft white sand has a western exposure and is well known for its magnificent sunsets. This is also the area where the largest number of local fishermen work the waters for the abundant seafood found in Bali. There are many small medium and large restaurants, food stalls, and grills. Here you will be able to enjoy a meal of the very freshest fish and seafood.
